The Laughlin Fund is to be used to support elderly (age 65 and older) Unitarian Universalist lay people.
There is wide latitude in the kind of financial support possible.
Grants can be used to help with:
Grants can be used to reimburse expenses recently incurred or to fund pending expenditures. The grants, however, are limited to discrete, one-time requests, not ongoing support. Grants will be made based on need. Individuals can expect a decision on their application within 4 to 6 weeks.
